Ambadri Safari Park
Ambardi Safari Park, also known as Ambardi Interpretation Zone, is a special eco-tourism park created as an alternative to Gir National Park. Located near Dhundhivada village in Amreli district, Gujarat, Ambardi offers a controlled wildlife experience, where visitors can spot Asiatic lions, leopards, and other wildlife in a semi-natural environment.
This park is an extension of the Gir ecosystem and provides a great chance for tourists to see lions without entering the core Gir National Park. It is an excellent choice for those who want a less-crowded, budget-friendly, and quicker safari experience.
Ambardi Safari Park is located near Dhundhivada village in Amreli district, Gujarat, about 50 km from Gir National Park and 7 km from Dhari town. The park spreads across 400 hectares and is part of the larger Gir Protected Area.
BEST TIME TO VISIT AMBARDI SAFARI PARK
Ambardi Safari Park remains open throughout the year, making it accessible even during the monsoon when Gir National Park is closed. However, the best time to visit is:
✔ October to March – Pleasant weather and excellent wildlife sightings.
✔ April to June – Hotter months, but lions are more active near water sources.
✔ July to September – Green and scenic, but fewer wildlife sightings.

The Jeep Safari takes visitors through the park’s rugged terrain, where they can spot:
